Tile me crazy

Tiles, tiles everywhere! Oh, what a sight. Lisbon is a stunning city, full of history and art. Not only public displays of art (of which there were plenty), but of more functional art... ceramic tiles to be exact. These tiles are a typical sight throughout Portugal. While functional in nature, they add distinct character and beauty to the city. For more info on the history, click here.
